Job summary

Inter IKEA Systems B.V. in Milton Keynes is looking for a Warehouse Operative. You will help ensure smooth store operations, balance warehouse and customer-facing responsibilities, and handle a range of products with attention to safety and accuracy.

The role is part-time (18-32 hours per week, 3-5 days, including late evenings and some weekends) with an hourly rate of £14.15 and a night-shift allowance of £2.25. Start date is 3 October 2026; benefits include IKEA discounts and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritise and organise workload with attention to detail.
• Experience using technical equipment to improve productivity.
• Willingness to act on own initiative and contribute in teams.
• Comfortable using computers/handheld devices to support picking and stock tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manually handle products across a range of items.
• Serve customers in the warehouse and balance warehouse and customer-facing duties.
• Perform tasks in assigned area: pick, pack, receive, replenish with accuracy, keep stock records.
• Operate heavy machinery safely (forklift, pump trucks, counterbalance).
• Follow all safety protocols for a secure environment for customers and staff.
