Job summary

Henry Schein in the United Kingdom is seeking an Operations Assistant for 20 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 2pm to 7pm. You will handle the receipt, locating, replenishing, counting, picking, checking, packing and despatch of goods, and ensure accurate and timely processing of customer sales orders and returns in a busy warehouse.

Responsibilities include inbound deliveries, stock control, cyclic counts, order picking from fixed locations, packing with correct labels, 100% order checks,

Qualifications

• Basic literacy and numeracy essential for core duties.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and to time constraints.
• Reach Truck and Order Picker certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accept deliveries inbound and record PO details.
• Unpack, check and store received goods to correct locations.
• Complete stock replenishments and maintain location accuracy.
• Undertake cyclical stock counts as directed.
• Pick goods for customer orders from fixed stock locations and pack with labels.
• Carry out 100% checks on all picked orders.
• Process customer returns as per instructions.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and comply with Health and Safety requirements.
• Cover other duties in Operations Dept. as needed.
