Job summary

GXO Screwfix in Stafford is seeking Part Time Warehouse Operatives to support from picking to dispatch. The role is on a permanent, night-shift basis from 22:00 to 06:00 with two shift patterns: 2 nights (15 hours) and 3 nights (22.5 hours), offering annual salaries of £10,725 or £16,087.50.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse is advantageous but not essential.
• Able to work independently and in a team to meet KPI targets.
• Understanding the importance of delivering good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, and stock control using WMS.
• Pick and pack products accurately for retail delivery orders.
• Work flexibly to meet KPIs and targets, solo or as part of a team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment following SOPs and hygiene rules.

Here at GXOScrewfix, we are looking forPart Time Warehouse Operativesto join us at our Screwfix site in Stafford. From picking and packing to dispatching orders, you will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.

You will be working on apart time, permanentbasis on our night shift working between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00.

We have 2 shifts available:

• 2 nights, 15 hours - Sunday and Monday
• Annual salary £10,725
• 12.5 days annual leave

OR

• 3 nights, 22.5 hours - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
• Annual salary £16,087.50
• 19 days annual leave

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Support the day-to-day warehouse operation by carrying out inbound, outbound and stock control activities using the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Pick and pack products accurately for retail delivery orders, handling stock with care and a high level of attention to detail
• Work efficiently and flexibly to meet operational KPIs and targets, both independently and as part of a wider team
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment by following all Safe Systems of Work, Standard Operating Procedures and hygiene requirements

What you'll need to succeed at GXO:

• Any experience within a warehouse setting is advantageous but NOT essential
• Worked independently and as part of a team to achieve KPI's and targets effectively
• To understand the importance of delivering excellent customer service
• Worked in a fast-paced environment where a high-volume workload must be achieved
