Job summary

Soho House Brighton is seeking a part-time Waiter/Waitress to deliver refined, attentive service to our members and guests. You will greet, take orders, make recommendations, and coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure a seamless dining experience.

You will maintain a pristine environment, attend to dietary needs, and provide knowledgeable menu suggestions. The role offers ongoing training, team events, and opportunities to grow within the club.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar high-end dining environment.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume settings and remain calm under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable and passionate about customer service; respectful to colleagues and guests.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet members and guests, present menus and engage from seating.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and note dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure timely and correct deliveries.
• Provide menu recommendations, including food and drink pairings.
• Maintain high standards of table service, refill water and beverages as needed.
• Keep tables and dining area clean and well-presented.
• Handle member requests and special accommodations with care.
• Process payments via card, app, or House Pay.
• Uphold discretion and professionalism with VIPs and PWKs.
