IVC Evidensia is seeking a Part Time Veterinary Surgeon for our Cardigan practice in Wales. You will join a supportive, RC VS-accredited group and deliver high standards of care across a varied caseload. The role emphasizes clinical freedom, CPD support, and a healthy work–life balance with no out-of-hours commitments.

Relocation support is available and the package includes a salary up to £60,000 FTE DOE. 32 hours per week, with flexible hours and a rota system across the sites.

Qualifications

• A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

You’ll be joining our site in Cardigan, however all our practices are RCVS GP-accredited and pride themselves on delivering high standards of care while maintaining a collaborative and friendly working environment. The group handles a varied and interesting caseload, giving you the opportunity to develop your clinical skills across a broad spectrum of cases. Our team and practice:

• 9 Veterinary Surgeons with expertise in orthopaedics, keyhole surgery, ultrasound, and dental radiography
• 11 Registered Veterinary Nurses, including a CertECC holder
• 11 Support Staff, including VCAs and client care advisors
• Well equipped with digital x-ray and dental x-ray
• Ultrasound
• In-house laboratories

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

• We’re looking for a Vet to join us 32 hours per week
• We’re flexible! We’re happy to discuss hours to suit your commitments
• No out-of-hours or on-call work
• 1:4 Saturday until 3pm (1 full day of TOIL in lieu of this)
• Shifts either 8:30 - 5:30 or 9:30 - 6:30 shared between all other vets on a rota schedule
