Job summary

IVC Evidensia Wales is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for a part-time role (20 hours per week) in our busy, well-equipped practice. You'll work a mix of consultations and surgeries alongside a supportive team, with no out-of-hours requirement and a focus on client care and clinical development.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £75,000 FTE DOE, plus a welcome bonus up to £2,500, and generous benefits including holiday and professional development.

Veterinary Surgeon - Part Time, 20 hours per week

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our exceptional team. This role is tailored for Vets who excel in managing diverse cases and delivering exceptional client care. Within this role, we will offer you the experience to grow in confidence and develop new skills, handling a mix of consultations and surgeries with minimum sole charge. We are eager to expand the services we offer so a vet who is interested in or has a certificate/special interest would be ideal for this position.

• Newly refurbished practice
• X-ray
• Endoscopy

• Multiparameter machines
• Double theatre, separate kennels, and cattery areas
• Dedicated dental room and imaging room

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you'll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You'll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You'll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

Typically, The Part-time Position Is

• 2 days per week working Monday (ops and consults) & Tuesday (consulting day), working alongside 2-3 other Vets each day.
• Shifts between 9 am – 6:45 pm and 1:3 Saturday mornings 9 am – 12 pm, we can consider school hours or flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle, Monday & Tuesday hours with no Saturday's are considered.
• There is no out-of-hours requirement as this is covered by our VetsNow team
