Job summary

Sodexo Ltd is seeking a Vending Operator to support vending operations at the DPD site in Hinckley. The role is permanent and part-time (25 hours per week), with a Monday–Friday pattern and a rate of pay £12.71 per hour.

You will ensure machines are stocked, clean and operating, performing regular stock replenishment and basic machine checks. You will handle deliveries, maintain cleanliness, and uphold food hygiene and safety standards across all vending machines.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Organised with good attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a busy operational environment.
• Physically able to replenish machines and move stock safely.

Responsibilities

• Replenish vending machines with food, drinks and other products.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure machines remain well stocked.
• Rotate stock and check product use-by and best-before dates.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all vending machines.
• Carry out basic machine checks and report faults promptly.
• Receive, organise and store deliveries.
• Complete regular stock counts and help minimise waste.
• Ensure products are correctly positioned and priced.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised stock/storage area.
• Follow all food hygiene, Health & Safety, COSHH and site procedures.
