Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Vending Operator at our Hinckley site on a permanent part-time basis (25 hours per week). The shift runs Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 2:00pm, with a rate of pay of £12.71 per hour.

You will ensure vending machines are fully stocked, clean and operating correctly, with regular stock replenishment, rotations and basic machine checks. Full training is provided and you’ll work in a professional catering environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Organised with good attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a busy operational environment.
• Physically able to replenish machines and move stock safely.
• Friendly and professional when dealing with customers.
• Able to follow food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Vending/retail or catering/stock experience is beneficial, but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Replenish vending machines with food, drinks and other products.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure machines remain well stocked.
• Rotate stock and check product use-by and best-before dates.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all vending machines.
• Carry out basic machine checks and report faults promptly.
• Receive, organise and store deliveries.
• Complete regular stock counts and help minimise waste.
• Ensure products are correctly positioned and priced.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised stock/storage area.
• Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, COSHH and site procedures.
