Job summary

Sodexo Hinckley is seeking a reliable Vending Operator to support our vending operation at the DPD site. You will ensure machines are stocked, clean and operating correctly, with regular stock replenishment and basic checks.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently, and customer-facing professionalism. Training is provided, and the position offers part-time hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Organised with good attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a busy operational environment.
• Physically able to replenish machines and move stock safely.
• Friendly and professional when dealing with customers.
• Able to follow food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Previous vending, retail, catering, warehouse or stock replenishment experience would be beneficial, but full training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Replenish vending machines with food, drinks and other products
• Monitor stock levels and ensure machines remain well stocked
• Rotate stock and check product use-by and best-before dates
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all vending machines
• Carry out basic machine checks and report faults promptly
• Receive, organise and store deliveries
• Complete regular stock counts and help minimise waste
• Ensure products are correctly positioned and priced
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised stock/storage area
• Follow all food hygiene, Health & Safety, COSHH and site procedures.
