Job summary

Twynham Learning is seeking a Treasury Finance Officer to join the Core Services Finance team at the Christchurch site. The role focuses on income processing, coding, and maintaining financial records across multiple academies within the Trust.

You will be the first point of contact for income queries, work with school finance teams, and develop knowledge of school funding streams while contributing to financial control and reporting.”

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting and school funding knowledge is desirable.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach with high accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with staff across the trust.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all funding and income are correctly coded and posted to the accounting system.
• Post parental income using data from the MIS.
• Use and maintain data on Excel spreadsheets.
• Raise sales invoices.
• Monitor aged receivables and send statements.
• Liaise with TL school staff and external stakeholders to resolve queries.
• Manage group email inboxes and respond to queries.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in line with policies.
