Job summary

Corinium Education Trust is seeking a Finance Officer (Accounting Technician) to join the Central Finance Team. You will maintain accurate financial records, support budgets and ensure regulatory compliance, aiding schools within the trust.

Experience in finance and strong attention to detail are essential. An AAT Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) is welcomed. DBS checks and UK work eligibility apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, accounting or financial administration.
• Strong knowledge of account principles and financial controls.
• AAT Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Financial accounting and reconciliations.
• Journal preparation and ledger management.
• VAT returns and fixed asset administration.
• Month-End and Year-End financial processes.
• Audit preparation and compliance.
• Payroll and financial data reconciliation.
• Financial systems and process improvement.
• Support for Trust financial planning and forecasting.
• Contributing to strong financial governance and internal controls.
