Job summary

Twynham Learning is seeking a Treasury Finance Officer to join the Core Services Finance team on a 20-hour-per-week basis. The role offers a permanent contract and the chance to influence school funding streams while working with our school-based finance teams.

You will be the first point of contact for income queries, code income correctly, manage data in spreadsheets, and support stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach, ensuring work is completed accurately, consistently, and to a high standard.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of staff across the trust on a regular basis.
• Self-starter, able to identify opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

• ensure all our funding and other income is correctly coded and posted onto our accounting system
• post all parental income onto the accounting system using data from our Management Information System
• use and maintain data on excel spreadsheets
• monitor aged receivables and send statements
• liaise with TL school staff and external stakeholders to resolve any queries
• manage group email inboxes and respond to queries
• promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
