Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Raunds is seeking a Transport Planner to lead the team on the Beko contract. You will plan, engage drivers and ensure deliveries are completed with PODs returned promptly.

The role requires strong communication, cost awareness and strong office skills. Part-time weekend pattern (Fri-Sun) with 30 hours per week, salary up to £21,000, and a range of benefits including pension and private medical cover.

Qualifications

• Experience tracking daily deliveries and using tracking systems.
• Ability to download customer orders and manage timely updates.
• Experience with cost control and working within budgets.
• Advanced MS Office usage (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers.

Responsibilities

• Track daily deliveries using vehicle tracking systems.
• Download all customer orders each day.
• Coordinate vehicle resourcing to ensure full manning.
• Liaise with site to maintain availability of agency drivers.
• Ensure customer booking times enable full fleet utilization.
• Verify figures and charges for accuracy and cost control.
• Maintain good geographical knowledge for routing.
