Job summary

InHealth Group is hiring a Trainee Health Screener to support our Surrey DES Programme, with clinics across Horley, Oxted, Redhill and surrounding towns. This part-time role offers 22.5 hours per week, 8:30am–4:30pm, typically Monday to Wednesday, with training leading toward a Health Screener Diploma.

Experience in a caring environment is preferred; full training is provided. You will assist with patient welcoming, eye screening procedures, and photo capture, progressing into advanced screening

Qualifications

• Compassionate and empathetic towards patients
• Willingness to travel to Surrey screening sites
• Able to take detailed eye photographs
• Flexible schedule including possible evenings/weekends

Responsibilities

• Welcome and make patients comfortable during screening
• Undertake the screening checklist to ensure safety
• Maintain camera and equipment for quality images
• Safely administer eye drops and take photographs
• Identify patients needing urgent onward referral
• Maintain stock of consumables for the clinic
