Job summary

InHealth Group Limited is seeking a part-time Screener to support diabetic eye screening across Surrey clinics, including Horley, Oxted, Redhill, and surrounding towns. The role involves working 22.5 hours over three days (8:30am–4:30pm) with on-site duties and initial on-the-job training towards a Health Screener Diploma.

Ideal candidates are caring, communicative, and able to travel to multiple screening sites in Surrey (with a full driving licence and access to a car).

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and access to a car for travel to clinics.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and make patients feel comfortable throughout the screening process.
• Undertake the screening checklist to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Maintain camera and equipment to capture quality eye images.
• Safely administer eye drops to enlarge pupils and photograph the eye.
• Identify patients requiring urgent onward referral at appointment time.
• Maintain stock of consumables to run the clinic.
