Job summary

Wolseley’s Plumb Centre Plymouth is recruiting a Part Time Sales Assistant on a fixed-term contract until July 2027, 30 hours per week. You’ll handle customer enquiries, advise on products, and support the branch with outbound calls and sales opportunities.

Includes light warehouse duties and weekly Saturday shifts on a rota. Ideal candidates have plumbing/heating knowledge and proven face-to-face sales or customer service experience, with a positive, collaborative work style and reliable

Qualifications

• Face-to-face sales and customer service experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to assist in all branch areas and work as a team.
• Plumbing & heating knowledge is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously.
• Serving customers on trade counter and providing advice and product recommendations.
• Making outbound calls to previous customers to regain business.
• Identifying opportunities to drive sales within the branch.
• General warehouse duties including picking and packing heavy stock.
