Job summary

Southern Co-op in Poole is seeking a Team Leader to inspire the store team and deliver an outstanding customer experience. This part-time role (18 hours per week) offers training, a supportive environment and opportunities to develop colleagues and local community initiatives.

You'll help manage day-to-day store operations, including delivery services, cash handling, and safety standards, stepping in for the Store Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position is great, but not essential.
• Self-motivated and a great communicator, ready to learn.
• We provide full training and support to help you succeed.
• You may be required to obtain a personal licence to sell alcohol — full training will be provided.
• Lead by example and support your team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

• Supporting all aspects of store operations and ensuring it’s safe, legal and running smoothly.
• Leading by example and supporting your team to deliver a consistently excellent customer experience.
• Contributing to the growth and success of the store by developing colleagues and helping them thrive.
• Step in for Store Manager in their absence.
• Engaging with and supporting the local community.
