Job summary

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Rugeley is seeking a Team Leader to drive the Children and Young Person Participation Team. The post is 22.5 hours per week, pro-rata, and focuses on embedding the voices of children, families and carers in service design and decision-making.

You will provide leadership on participation and co-production, influence service development, and represent the service at local, regional and national forums, ensuring high-quality delivery and governance.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree or equivalent demonstrable knowledge and experience.
• Leadership or management training or qualification (or demonstrable experience).
• Experience and/or evidence of formal courses and training at post graduate diploma level.

Responsibilities

• Lead service development, ensure policy implementation and compliance.
• Collaborate with the Service Manager and clinical leads on planning and delivery.
• Ensure adherence to Trust policies and guide clinical staff.
• Support implementation of National strategies and drive practice development.
• Manage resources and monitor performance within budget with locality manager.
• Maintain KPIs and Essential Standards; act as authorised signatory for budgets.
• Line manage staff, oversee sickness, performance and appraisals.
