Job summary

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in the West Midlands region seeks a Team Leader to drive the operational delivery of a multidisciplinary participation and co-production team focused on children and young people’s mental health. You will ensure robust governance, line-manage staff, and support policy implementation.

You will lead improvements in service development, engage with local and national forums, and promote best practice in line with national guidance while safeguarding

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent with demonstrable knowledge and experience.
• Leadership or management training or demonstrable experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of a multidisciplinary participation and co-production team.
• Provide expert leadership on participation and co-production across children and young people's mental health services.
• Influence service development and represent the service at local, regional and national forums.
• Promote best practice in line with national policy.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery that meets Trust and national standards and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate records and support governance processes.
• Line manage staff including supervision, development, sickness, performance and appraisals.
• Support policy development and monitoring of compliance.
• Guide clinical staff on Trust policies and guidelines.
• Support national strategy implementation and practice development.
• Manage the team budget within limits; act as authorised signatory for budgets.
