Class Act Teaching Services is partnering with a welcoming Oxfordshire primary school to recruit a part-time Teaching Assistant. You will support pupils in Year 3 and Year 4 every Thursday and Friday, with duties focusing on classroom support and learning activities.

The role emphasizes safeguarding and creating an inclusive learning environment. Previous experience with primary-aged children is desirable, and the school values strong communication and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with primary-aged children is desirable.
• Experience in a school or educational setting is advantageous.
• Understanding of Lower Key Stage 2 learning and development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Support pupils in Year 3 and Year 4
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
• Support literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum learning
• Encourage pupil engagement and confidence
• Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
