Job summary

East Sussex County Council seeks a part-time, term-time only Teaching Assistant to support learning in a dynamic and inclusive environment. You will work closely with teaching staff and the SEND team to help students access the curriculum, build confidence and thrive in the classroom.

You will deliver targeted interventions, reinforce learning and assist with behaviour and engagement strategies, contributing to rapid progress and helping each student reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children or in a school is useful but not essential.
• Graduates welcome and encouraged to apply for a longer-term career in teaching.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of students in line with KCSIE.

• Assist with day-to-day needs of students and deliver targeted interventions.
