Job summary

Grazeley Church of England Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant for 3 mornings per week during term time to support children on a 1:1 or small group basis. The role covers Reception and KS2, assisting learning under the direction of the teacher and SENDCo.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about SEND, patient, and able to build positive rapport with pupils. The post is part-time and based at the Grazeley school site.

Qualifications

• Experience with, or a love of, working with young people.
• Awareness of commitment to equality.
• Basic understanding of health and safety.
• Understanding and implementing child protection procedures.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small group support.
• Support learners in Reception and KS2 as directed by the teacher and SENDCo.
• Contribute to a safe and positive learning environment.
• Assist with learning activities and track pupil progress.
