Job summary

Brisley Church of England Primary Academy seeks a caring Teaching Assistant to support learning and development in a Christian-rooted primary school. You will work with teachers to deliver engaging activities, support pupils’ academic and social needs, and help create a calm, inclusive classroom environment.

The role is part-time (2 days per week) during term time plus one week, with mornings and afternoons as specified.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils' learning is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning by assisting with activities and ensuring a safe, inclusive classroom.
• Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging learning activities and support pupil development.
• Help manage small groups and provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the classroom and wider school.
• Line manage behaviour and support independent learning where appropriate.
