Job summary

St Barnabas CofE Primary School in Bristol is seeking an Early Years and KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will support high-quality provision and ensure pupils can access learning effectively, starting as soon as possible.

The role is 10 hours per week during term time (Thu-Fri 08:45-14:45 with a 60-minute lunch), with EHCP funding linked to a named child. Training and support will help you develop your skills and make a real difference.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children’s learning in a school or classroom setting (voluntary or paid).
• Be aspirational for every child and believe all pupils can learn.
• Be flexible and able to adapt practice to support learning.
• Build strong, positive relationships with colleagues and children.
• Be a reflective practitioner with a desire to learn and improve.
