Job summary

Cumberland Council is seeking a Part Time Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for pupils, starting September 2026. The fixed-term role runs to 31 August 2027 with hours negotiable.

The successful candidate will have a Level 2 qualification, strong maths and English, and good communication. Experience with pupils with additional needs and EHCPs is desirable.

The post is based at Kingmoor Junior School, Carlisle, with safeguarding at the forefront and chance of permanency.
