Job summary

St Leonard’s C of E Primary School in Walton-le-Dale is seeking a Teaching Assistant 2A with lunchtime welfare duties to join our dedicated team. The role covers 1:1 support, small groups and whole-class assistance, helping pupils achieve progress in a warm Christian environment.

The successful candidate will be an exemplary, patient and motivated support who communicates well, works collaboratively with staff and can adapt to varying classroom needs during the school day.

Qualifications

• Evidence of working with children in a caring environment.
• Strong maths and English abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to adapt to different classroom settings.
• Willing to engage in wider school life.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils as required.
• Support small groups and assist whole class teaching.
