Academics are working with a successful primary school in Sutton to recruit an experienced Key Stage 1 part-time Teaching Assistant to join the team. The role is to support children with their academic work and assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons.

The position is part-time, with morning or afternoon shifts, term-time only, starting October or November 2026. The school is one form entry, oversubscribed, and values energy and enthusiasm to help pupils reach their potential.

Here at Academics, we are working with this brilliant Primary school in the heart of Sutton to recruit an experienced Key Stage 1 part time teaching assistant to join the team.

The role will be to work in class as a general Teaching Assistant supporting children with their academics work and supporting the class teacher to deliver high quality lessons.

This role would suit a Teaching Assistant who is qualified to Level 3 or Graduate level and has strong literacy and maths skills. You will need plenty of energy and enthusiasm to ensure this schools children get the opportunity to do their best work and achieve their potential.
