Job summary

Virgin Active in Greater London is seeking two Part Time Swim Coordinators to join our Family Activities team. You will lead a safe, engaging and commercially successful swim programme, inspiring and developing a high-performing swim team while maintaining the highest standards of teaching, safeguarding and member experience.

The role involves line managing the swim team, recruiting, training and rotas and driving KPIs and budgets.

Qualifications

• ASA Level 2/STA Full Swim Instructor qualification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a commercial environment with composure under pressure.
• Proficiency with computers and learning new systems quickly.
• Lifeguard qualification or swimming ability with willingness to train.
• Enhanced DBS clearance before start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, engaging and commercially successful swim programme delivery.
• Inspire and develop a high-performing swim team and coaching staff.
• Drive operational and financial performance and meet KPIs and budgets.
• Maintain high standards of teaching, safeguarding and member experience.
• Line management: recruitment, training, rotas and payroll for the Swim team.
• Deliver department health checks and audits; uphold Brand Standards.
