Job summary

Virgin Active is seeking a Swim Manager to lead our swimming programme, inspire a high‑performing team and deliver exceptional teaching and service. You will manage teaching quality, safety and member experience, while aligning with brand standards and club budgets.

The role requires Swim England/ASA Level 2 and STA Level 2 certificates, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to drive department targets in a busy club environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising and leading a team.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive team performance and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Swim Team to deliver high‑quality teaching and engaging activities.
• Develop and implement classes following ASA National Swim Plan.
• Ensure safe, enjoyable environment for members and manage communication across club team and parents.
• Line manage recruitment, training, rotas and payroll; drive department KPIs and budgets.
