Are you seeking a part-time role? A returning client of mine is seeking a part-time surveyor to join them for three days a week. This position plays a crucial part in managing repairs, voids, and planned works. It's ideal for a proactive, hard-working surveyor looking to make an impact in a dynamic housing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out inspections and assessments for voids, day-to-day repairs, disrepair cases, damp & mould, and specialist works
  2. Oversee the sign-off and handover of works, ensuring high quality and value for money
  3. Work closely with internal teams, trade operatives, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver a responsive and efficient service
  4. Manage contractor performance and ensure compliance with contract and regulatory requirements
  5. Contribute to the planning and scoping of future planned works and procurement of delivery partners
  6. Monitor health and safety compliance and ensure safeguarding and equality standards are upheld
  7. Support with insurance claim assessments and contribute to service charge data collation
Role Requirements
  1. Prior surveying experience within housing
  2. Knowledge of repairs, voids, disrepair, and planned maintenance delivery
  3. Familiar with health & safety regulations and asbestos awareness procedures
  4. Strong IT skills
