Job summary

Oasis is seeking a part-time Supporter Engagement & Events Officer (0.5 FTE) in Greater London. You will develop and deliver engaging events, campaigns and supporter experiences to reach new audiences and deepen ties with existing supporters.

This role focuses on fundraising, community campaigns, volunteering opportunities and partnerships, with a strong emphasis on creativity, organisation and relationship-building. Hybrid working and evening/weekend flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporter engagement, fundraising, events, marketing or communications, ideally within a charity or purpose-led organisation.
• Experience of planning and delivering events, campaigns or other public-facing activity.
• Creative and enjoys finding new ways to engage and inspire people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are confident building relationships with a wide range of people.
• Highly organised and able to coordinate different people, suppliers, activities and deadlines.
• Can manage competing priorities and take ownership of projects from idea through to delivery.
• Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging supporter and fundraising events.
• Developing new and creative events and activities that broaden our reach and attract new audiences.
• Building an annual programme of engagement opportunities, campaigns and events.
• Developing fundraising and awareness campaigns that can be activated across Oasis communities, workplaces, schools and partner networks.
• Working with our Communications Team to promote campaigns and events across email, social media, web, print and other channels.
• Creating compelling supporter materials, case studies and calls to action that bring the work and impact of Oasis to life.
• Coordinating colleagues, volunteers, venues, suppliers and external partners to deliver high-quality events and experiences.
• Creating opportunities for existing donors, supporters and partners to become more actively involved in Oasis.
• Helping turn initial participation into longer-term supporter relationships.
• Reviewing the performance of events and campaigns and using what we learn to strengthen future activity.
