Job summary

Cartref Homes UK Ltd is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for a part-time or bank role in Kemsing. You will provide one-to-one support to a tenant with learning disabilities and communication needs, working with an experienced team in an annexe on the tenant’s family land.

The role offers flexible shifts, including early, late and weekend work, with sleep-in payments, and a robust induction plus ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for people with learning disabilities or communication needs is an advantage.
• Previous care experience is not essential.
• Must be kind, patient, and resilient.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to a tenant with intellectual disabilities and communication needs.
• Work in pairs within an annexe located on the tenant's family land.
• Support day-to-day activities and attend community events.
• Provide encouragement and support through life's challenges.
