Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a part-time Support Worker to join the Isle of Wight Homelessness Service (Ryde). The role covers 28 hours per week on a 4-week rolling rota, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

You will support residents on their journeys from street to home, delivering personalised intervention programmes and promoting client choice and independence within the Isle of Wight Homelessness Pathway.

• A positive attitude and motivation towards supporting clients to achieve focussed and positive life outcomes.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Being solution focused and showing good time management skills.
