Job summary

Case Management Cymru is recruiting a Support Worker to assist a 10-year-old boy with cerebral palsy and complex needs in Alltwen, Neath Port Talbot. This part‑time role is 12 hours per week with term-time shifts on Wednesdays 10:00–17:00 and Saturdays 09:00–14:00, plus school holidays.

You will help with personal care, support social and leisure activities, and provide respite for his mum. A full induction and Enhanced DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with complex needs.
• Ability to drive with use of a car.
• Enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with personal care and daily activities.
• Engage the client in social and leisure activities and therapy-related tasks.
• Offer respite support to parent and coordinate with the Case Manager.
