Job summary

Priory Millburn in Cambuslang, on the outskirts of Glasgow, is seeking a Female Support Worker for part-time relief across three female residents in separate units. The role involves helping with daily living tasks, personal care, and activity participation within a compassionate team to support wellbeing and recovery.

You will provide 1:1 or 2:1 support, maintain records, and contribute to care plans while upholding safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support work.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• SVQ level 3 required or willing to achieve in post.

Part Time – 14 hours one week, 26 hours the next.

Millburn has an opportunity for a Female Support Worker to join our team to work 1:1 or 2:1 across three female residents who all reside in their own separate units.

This role is offered on a part time basis working 14 hours one week and 26 hours the next.

Shifts:

• Week 1 Friday 08.00-22.00 (14 hours)
• Week 2 Thursday 08.00-20.00 and Friday 08.00-22.00 (26 hours)

We can only consider candidates who can accommodate the above hours.

Millburn is located in Cambuslang, on the outskirts of Glasgow. Our home offers residential support for 20 males and females with a variety of needs, including autistic adults and people with a learning disability. We can also support individuals with mental health and physical health needs.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents
