The National Autistic Society is seeking a part-time Support Worker for Kingsley House, Bideford, Devon. Your role is to help adults live their best lives by following care plans and daily routines, with 33 hours per week and evening/weekend shifts.

You will contribute to a safe, supportive environment, assisting with personal care, activities, and social engagement while maintaining safeguarding and DBS compliance.

Qualifications

• Care experience or willingness to learn to support autistic adults.
• Ability to follow individual support plans and routines.
• Empathy, patience and reliability in a care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, eating).
• Encourage activities they enjoy (swimming, hiking, arts & crafts).
• Follow individual support plans and daily routines.
