Job summary

Royal Mencap Society in Borehamwood is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our care team. You will support individuals with learning disabilities with daily activities and emotional support, fostering independence and wellbeing.

This role requires flexibility to cover evenings, weekends and holidays, and a valid driver's license is preferred. All roles are pro-rata for part-time contracts; we offer 24-hour support rotas planned ahead to fit personal life, a comprehensive benefits package

Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Borehamwood.

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

Contract options

• Part-time: 22.5

All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

• Days: Between 07:00-22:00 AND
• Sleep-ins: 22:00-07:00

For sleep-ins you willreceive an enhanced flat rate payment of£64.20

*All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
