Job summary

Kisimul Group in Swinderby (Hawthorn House) is seeking a Part-time Support Worker (20.75 hours) to join our Children and Young People residential care home. You will provide care and support to young people with complex needs, working a fixed rota of 2 days on and 6 days off.

This role emphasizes safeguarding, practical support, relationship-building, accurate record keeping, and contributing to the team’s development.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard young people at all times with the staff team.
• Participate in recreational events within the home and community.
• Assist with practical care tasks (cooking, cleaning, etc).

• Meet physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young people.
• Maintain accurate and clear record keeping.

PART-TIME SUPPORT WORKER (20.75 hours)– CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE - SWINDERBY

Due to continued organisational growth and development opportunities for our current staff, we are recruiting for a Part-time Support Worker (20.75 hours) to join our well-established team at Hawthorn House, our Children and Young People Residential care home service in Swinderby near Lincoln. Working a fixed rota 2 days on 6 days off. Shift hours are 07:30am to 20:30pm.

What will you be doing:

• Working with all levels of the Staff Team to safeguard our young people at all time.
• Participating in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational events held within the home and wider community.
• Assisting with practical matters relating to care (cooking, cleaning etc.)
• Creating positive relationships with the young people and offering them unconditional dignity and respect.
• Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young people.
• Continually maintaining accurate and clear record keeping.
• Ensuring that the needs of the young person are being met and reviewing and recording changes to those needs.
• Actively contributing to the development of the team
