Job summary

Cornerstone Community Care in Dunfermline is seeking a dedicated care assistant to support a young man in his own home. You will provide one-to-one support, help with meals, daily tasks and medication, and assist with engaging activities within the community.

A caring, reliable approach and good communication are essential. The role is part-time (16 hours weekly) with a 24-hour shift once per week, including a sleepover.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support roles is desirable.
• Commitment to person-centred support and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to the client in his own home.
• Assist with day-to-day living, including meal planning and cooking.
• Help with household tasks and medication as required.
• Support activities that enhance independence and community engagement.
