Job summary

Cornerstone Perth is seeking a part-time Support Practitioner to assist a gentleman with complex needs in his own home. This fixed-term role offers 16 hours per week with a sleepover shift and additional pay for sleepovers.

No prior experience is required; we recruit on values and provide full training, SVQ funding (SCQF level 6/7) and SSSC registration fees covered. A full UK manual driving licence is preferred; computer skills and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence preferred, not essential.
• Strong listening and communication skills vital for caregiver support.
• Caring attitude with a positive approach to learning and routines.

Responsibilities

• Support a gentleman with complex needs in his own home.
• Assist with daily activities, routines and personal care as required.
• Engage in swimming activities and promote safety in the home.
• Demonstrate good listening, communication and compassionate care.
• Participate in training to achieve SVQ and maintain registrations.
