Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a Part-Time Supply Teacher in Durham for the 2026/27 academic year. You will deliver engaging lessons across primary and secondary settings, following school guidelines and adapting to different classrooms.

You choose days to work, gain varied experience, and maintain your teaching skills while supporting pupil development. DBS and safeguarding training are part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching in a school setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to working across multiple schools.

Whether you're looking for 1-2 days a week, a few days around other commitments, or simply more flexibility, we can help you find supply work that works for you.

You'll have the opportunity to work across a range of Primary and Secondary schools, gaining valuable experience while keeping control of your schedule.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for teachers who have:

• A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
• Completion of the required KCSIE safeguarding training/course, or willingness to complete this as part of the onboarding process.
