Job summary

A leading sports coaching organization across North Wales is looking for a Sports Coach to inspire the next generation through high-quality PE lessons and various sports activities. The ideal candidate should have a Level 2 qualification and experience working with children. This role offers ongoing training and the chance to gain further qualifications while contributing positively to youth development.

Location: Schools across North Wales

What you’ll be doing
  • Delivering high-quality PE lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Leading and supporting a wide range of sports and physical activities for children and young people.
  • Running fun and engaging extracurricular clubs before school, at lunchtime, after school, evenings, and during holiday camps.
  • Planning and delivering innovative coaching sessions that motivate and inspire.
  • Supporting young people’s development and producing accurate reports and assessments.
What we’re looking for
  • Recognised Level 2 qualification
  • Child Protection & First Aid certificates (or willingness to obtain).
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
  • Proven experience working with children and young people.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and passionate about sports coaching.
  • Access to your own transport.

Recruitment process
  1. Stage 1: Formal interview.
  2. Stage 2: Delivery of a practical coaching session with primary-aged children.
