VerseOne Group is recruiting a Specialist Safeguarding Nurse or Midwife to join the Safeguarding team within the MSEFT framework. You will provide specialist advice to staff and multi-agency partners on safeguarding children and unborn babies.

You will support operational management of complex child protection cases, maintain records, deliver safeguarding training, and help implement guidance and legislation across the Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience safeguarding children and unborn babies.
• Knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children guidance.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert guidance to MSE staff on safeguarding of children.
• Support operational management of complex child protection cases.
• Maintain records and statistics for reporting requirements.
• Elevate risks/concerns to Named Nurse/Midwife for Safeguarding Children.
• Support staff in implementation of safeguarding guidance and legislation at local level.
• Assist in monitoring and auditing safeguarding guidance implementation.
• Support staff in applying mental capacity guidance for 16–17 year olds.
• Plan and deliver Safeguarding Children training for staff across the Trust.
• Maintain safeguarding records in line with NMC guidance.
