Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Part Time Sous Chef for Miller & Carter - Chertsey in Ottershaw. You will lead a kitchen section, train staff, and support the Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control while upholding brand standards and service quality.

This role offers flexible shifts, staff discounts, and ongoing development through our Steak School and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise kitchen sections to ensure smooth service.
• Assist Head Chef with ordering, prep, and stock control.
• Train, mentor and develop junior kitchen staff.
• Maintain brand standards and menu consistency.
• Ensure high standard of hygiene and safety compliance.
