Reading Borough Council is hiring a part-time Social Worker for the Advice and Wellbeing Hub. The role focuses on early intervention, delivering short-term, person-centred support to adults and carers to promote independence and wellbeing.

You will conduct Care Act and Mental Capacity assessments, coordinate best-interest decisions, and manage safeguarding inquiries, while building a CPD portfolio and working with partners. Reading offers development opportunities and a supportive team.

Competenze

• Social Work degree (or equivalent) required.
• Registration with Social Work England is required.
• Solid understanding of the Care Act 2014.
