Job summary

Orton Wistow Primary School, part of Meridian Trust, seeks a Site Officer to maintain a safe and secure learning environment. The role is 25 hours per week, 52 weeks a year, with shifts 6am–11am or 1pm–6pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience with health and safety best practice
• Experience managing external contractors
• Hands-on trade skills and maintenance knowledge
• Flexible and team-oriented with good IT skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure premises are tidy, safe and secure for learning
• Be focal point for health and safety; complete risk assessments and inspections
• Manage external contractors and ensure work complies with safeguarding policies
• Respond to Helpdesk maintenance requests via iAMCompliant
• Operate Building Management System (BMS) to run buildings efficiently
• Carry out maintenance and repairs within the scope of a competent handyperson
