Job summary

B&Q Elgin is looking for a part-time Showroom Advisor to help customers create their dream kitchen and bathroom projects. You will discuss needs, demonstrate products, and use design software to present options.

This role involves coordinating multiple projects, supporting customers in-store and online, and pursuing sales targets with team collaboration. The position offers a competitive hourly rate with bonuses, a permanent contract, and shifts across Monday to Sunday, including evenings.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to convert designs into sales and provide knowledgeable product guidance.
• Comfort with using software to create inspirational designs for customer projects.
• Flexible and reliable, able to work a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Discuss customer needs and recommend finance, products, and installation options.
• Produce designs using software to illustrate projects.
• Coordinate multiple projects and support customers both virtually and face-to-face.
• Guide customers on journeys from ideas to delivery, ensuring high service standards.
