Job summary

Children's Hospice South West is seeking a Part-Time Shop Manager's Assistant for the Trowbridge shop. The role is 10 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, working in a small team to support the Shop Manager and volunteers in running the shop.

You will serve customers, handle cash, sort/display stock, and ensure health and safety procedures are followed. We value our staff, offering a range of benefits and an environment where you can make a real difference in the local community.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organised with good time management.
• Experience in retail or a customer service position.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers, sort and display stock, handle cash and follow health and safety procedures.
• Support the manager and volunteers, plan, prioritise and delegate workload.
• Help create a positive working environment and contribute to a seven-days-a-week shop.
