Job summary

Bournebrook C of E Primary School is looking for a part-time SENDCo to cover maternity leave. Salary to be agreed, with a flexible one day per week schedule starting January 2027. The role is fixed-term for two terms, supporting pupils aged 3–11 and ensuring effective inclusion.

Applicants should have QTS, preferably NASENCO, SENDCo experience, and knowledge of government guidance on statements and EHC plans. DBS disclosure is required. Visits can be arranged via the headteacher.

Qualifications

• Have obtained qualified teacher status (QTS).
• Possess or be working towards NASENCO.
• Have SENDCo experience.
• Experience of supporting SEN children aged 3-11.
• Knowledge of current guidance on statements and EHC plans.
• Excellent communication, coordination and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SENDCo provision within the school.
• Support inclusion and oversee EHC/statement processes.
• Collaborate with headteacher and staff to advance pupil outcomes.
