Job summary

Banks Lane Junior School in Stockport is seeking an inspirational SENDCo on a part-time basis (22.75 hours/week) with UPS+TLR2. Start date is January 2027; an application deadline is 28 September 2026. The role includes a small amount of weekly teaching time and flexibility in hours.

The successful candidate will lead SEND provision, work with external agencies, and drive inclusive practice across a vibrant three-form entry school committed to safeguarding and high standards.

• Lead SEND provision in collaboration with SLT and SEND Team to ensure all pupils make progress.
• Manage statutory processes, EHCP applications, and multi-agency partnerships efficiently.
• Champion safeguarding and maintain high standards of attendance, wellbeing, and inclusion.
